Crews Hoist Final Piece of Structural Steel in New Stadium

Workers will raise the last piece of structural steel in the new Washington State Football/Soccer Stadium, signifying the "topping out" of the building's signature north scoreboard tower one year from the Stadium's Grand Opening. An event honoring crews and celebrating the fact that the project is on time and on budget will immediately follow the ceremony. |

Representatives from First & Goal Inc., Seattle Seahawks, Public Stadium Authority, Turner Construction and organized labor will comment about the significant milestone and thank the construction team. Scheduled speakers include:
- Tom Gerlach, Vice President and General Manager, Turner Construction
- Lorraine Hine, Chairperson, Public Stadium Authority
- Ray Colliver, Senior Project Manager, First & Goal, Inc.
- Jacob Green, former Seattle Seahawks player
