Construction Officials Unveil New Stadium Seats
PSA Board Tests State-of-the-Art Seats at Thursday Meeting

At Thursday's Public Stadium Authority (PSA) Board meeting, officials from First & Goal Inc. will unveil what's sure to become one of the new Football/Soccer Stadium's most accommodating features – its seats. The proposed state-of-the art seats will be on display for the PSA Board (and members of the news media) to test-drive.

First & Goal senior project manager Ray Colliver will present detailed seat information to the Board, and will be available for interview.

The new seats, produced by Camatic, are similar to the 17,000 seats installed in the Sydney Superdome where gymnastics and basketball were played during the Summer 2000 Olympics, and the 52,000 seats installed in Colonial Stadium, a multi-purpose sports venue in Melbourne, Australia that was completed in March 2000. Presentation of the seats is scheduled as the first agenda item and will take place in the lobby. Members of the press are advised to set-up cameras in the lobby at the beginning of the meeting and are welcome to try out the seats at the conclusion of the presentation. Scheduled for completion in July 2002, the new Washington State Football/Soccer Stadium will be a world-class, premier sporting facility and the new home of the Seattle Seahawks.
